‘Allo Allo’ read through/casting – Monday 19th June 2023

The first production of the season 2023/2024 is ‘Allo Allo’ and is to be directed by Michaela Turner.
The production will run from Monday 2nd October to Saturday 7th October 2023.
Please come along, put your best franglais accent on and join in with the reading.

Attfield Theatre season pre-launch – Friday 9th June 2023

You are invited to come along and find out what the new season 2023/2024 productions are, meet the directors and register your interest with them.  We will be meeting at 19:30 in the theatre, we hope to see you there.

Hope House Charity Ball

Sally Rogers is organising a charity ball for Hope House on March 9th 2019, with a Charlie and chocolate factory theme. She is looking for someone to dress up as Mr Wonker and maybe a couple of Oompa Loompas, literally to welcome guests as they arrive 7pm -8pm.  If anyone is interested please contact contact her directly on sallyrogers0705@gmail.com

WEDDING

George Falconer will be marrying his girlfriend Dorcas on the 7th of April at 2pm at the Trinity Methodist Church, Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port CH65 0AB.  This will be followed by a reception at The Civic Hall, Civic Way, Ellesmere Port CH65 0AZ  (Note: there is parking at the church, or the library which is by the civic hall.  Parking is free after 3pm).

Any members who know George are most welcome to attend, please can you  RSVP to georgedorcas66@gmail.com if you will be attending.

The couple would welcome money towards their honeymoon, rather than individual gifts, for anyone wishing to get them something.

 

Emma – Casting read through

There will be a casting read through of Jane Austen’s Emma, on Thursday 22nd June from 19:30 at the Attfield Theatre.  Anyone interested in being involved, whether on stage or back stage, are invited to attend.

The Director is Kath Evans and the production dates are Monday 2nd October to Saturday 7th October 2017.

 

SPECIAL 40th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

Tickets are now available for the special 40th Anniversary Concert of the Youth Music Festival to be heldat Christchurch on Saturday 4th March at 7.30 pm.  Tickets are £5 each and all proceeds will go to the Malcolm Sargent CLIC Charity.

Chaperone

We are pleased to announce that we have our first officially certified chaperone compliant with the new regulations for young persons in theatre.  Fiona Ashby, our chair, has been through the certification and training process and is now licensed until January 2018.

Attfield Annual Party

All members are cordially invited to the Attfield Theatre’s annual party which is to be held on Friday 6th January 2017 in the Walford Davies Suite from 7:30 pm.

Please bring a plate of food to share and something to drink.  Access to the building will be  via the disabled door entrance on the night.  We look forward to seeing you there.
