This is a very special year for the Attfield as we celebrate our 90th anniversary. Formed in 1928 by founder member G W Attfield, the group has changed location and format over the years, but remains dedicated to bringing live, affordable theatre to the town.
We hope that you enjoyed our first offering of the season, two One Act plays ‘The Cagebirds’ and ‘The Regina Monologues’. We certainly had a lot of fun doing them.
Rehearsals are now underway for our Christmas production, the family favourite James and Giant Peach, directed by Janos Barber. In order to make this more accessible to children, we have decided to replace the normal Monday evening performance with a Saturday matinee. Tickets are on sale now for all the season, and tickets for this one are going particularly well, so don’t leave it too long before booking yours.
